Services
What kind of companies do you work with?
Mostly small and medium-sized companies, entrepreneurs and professionals who need structure in order to grow, and organisations preparing documentation for financial institutions or international partners. There is no minimum size; there is a requirement that someone on the client side has the authority to decide.
Do you work with clients outside Portugal?
Yes. JANELAMBICIOSA is based in Portugal and works with clients in Portugal, Mozambique and other international markets. Projects may be delivered on-site or remotely, in Portuguese or English, depending on the client’s needs and the scope of the project.
Do you provide financial or investment services?
No. JANELAMBICIOSA does not provide financial or investment services. Our activities focus on consulting, digital services, technology solutions and digital asset-related consulting, within the applicable framework.
How are fees calculated?
It depends on the service. Diagnostics and analyses are fixed-price, set after an initial conversation at no cost. Implementation projects are quoted by phase, so you can assess each one before moving to the next. Ongoing support is contracted as a monthly retainer. In every case, scope and price are put in writing before we start.
Is the first consultation free?
No. The initial consultation is free and is used to understand the problem, context and project needs. At this stage, we assess whether we can help and outline the next steps. If you decide to proceed, the scope, services and fees are presented and agreed before any work begins.
How we work
How long does a project take?
The timeframe depends on the scope, complexity and objectives of the project. After the initial consultation, we provide a work plan outlining the main stages, deliverables and expected timelines. Smaller projects may be completed within a few weeks, while broader implementation or transformation projects may run across several phases. The client is kept informed throughout the process.
Who works on my project?
Management is directly involved in each project. When specialized expertise is required, we work with suitable professionals or partners according to the project’s scope. Client confidentiality and control over information are maintained throughout the process.
Do you sign non-disclosure agreements?
Yes. By default, we propose a confidentiality agreement before the first working session whenever sensitive or strategic information needs to be shared. If the client prefers to use its own agreement, we review and sign it before accessing the information.
Who owns what you produce?
The client. Documents, models, code and other materials specifically produced for the client become the client’s property after payment, unless otherwise agreed in the contract. The company retains only the rights necessary over its pre-existing tools, methods, templates and know-how used to deliver the work.
How quickly do you respond to an enquiry?
We normally respond within 24 business hours. Enquiries received outside business hours, at weekends or on public holidays are handled on the next business day.
Compliance and security
What institutional documentation can you provide for due diligence?
We provide corporate and institutional documentation for due diligence processes, including commercial registration, company identification, ownership structure, beneficial ownership and relevant governance, compliance and data protection documentation. Part of the documentation is available through our Trust Center, while additional documents may be provided upon request, depending on the nature of the process and applicable requirements.
Is the company registered with any financial authority?
We maintain an incident management procedure covering detection, containment, analysis and communication. When an incident involves personal data and a notification obligation applies, the applicable requirements are followed, including notification to the competent authorities within the legally required timeframes. Affected clients will be informed where applicable. Vulnerabilities or incidents may be reported through the contact details available on this website.
What checks do you run before accepting a client?
We identify the client and, where applicable, the beneficial owner. We verify the entity’s existence and status, the identity of its representatives, and the nature of its activity. Where the risk justifies it, we request additional information about the source of funds. We decline work that we cannot properly assess or whose purpose is unclear.
How do you handle clients’ personal data?
We process personal data in accordance with the GDPR and only for defined and legitimate purposes. We set retention periods and restrict access to people who need the data to perform the work. We do not sell personal data or use it for marketing without consent or another applicable lawful basis. Further details are set out in our Privacy Policy and records of processing activities.
Where is client information stored?
Client information is stored in services hosted within the European Economic Area, with encryption in transit and at rest. Access is limited to people involved in the project and protected by two-factor authentication. Daily backups are performed and periodically tested.
What happens in the event of a security incident?
We maintain an incident management procedure covering detection, containment, analysis and communication. When an incident involves personal data and a notification obligation applies, the applicable requirements are followed, including notification to the competent authorities within the legally required timeframes. Affected clients will be informed where applicable. Vulnerabilities or incidents may be reported through the contact details available on this website.
